Lifting equipment – chain block, coffin hoist, wire rope winch, reeve block, snatch block, turn buckle and winches.What is a Level 3 rigger?Those who achieve the Level 2 qualification can work as a rigger without direct supervision. NRC Level 3 is a Rigging Supervisor qualification. Those who achieve the Level 3 qualification can supervise other riggers. Level 3 candidates must have previously achieved Level 2.Who is a qualified rigger? A qualified rigger is a person that: possesses a recognized degree, certificate, or professional standing, or. has extensive knowledge, training, and experience, and. can successfully demonstrate the ability to solve problems related to rigging loads.A certified rigger is a person who has been trained and certified to handle and move loads. The level of certification depends upon the individual’s training, knowledge, skill base, and ability to perform functions related to the selection, inspection, and proper use of rigging equipment.WHAT IS RIGGING?
